84.3% of 2016 CPPCC session proposals adopted

By February 20, proposals adopted and to-be-adopted had accounted for 84.3 percent of the total proposals submitted during the fourth session of the National Committee of the 12th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held last year.

The committee said, by February 20, it had received 5,769 proposals, of which 4,279 were put on record. And 99.84 percent of the 4,279 proposals had been addressed.

Statistics show that the departments of the State Council had adopted over 3,000 suggestions from deputies to the National People’s Congress (NPC) and members of the CPPCC National Committee and released at least 1,300 relevant policies and measures.

After the conclusion of the fourth session of the 12th CPPCC National Committee, 42 fine and feasible proposals were selected for key addressing by meetings, inspections and investigations.
