Different from previous two sessions, this year more than 200 licensed cars of the online car-hailing firm Shouqi Limousine and Chauffeur were put into service for the 2017 two sessions.
This is the first time that the online car-hailing has served for the two sessions on a large scale after the new regulations for online car-hailing services came into effect in 2016.
So far Shouqi has dispatched hundreds of cars, drivers and related staff to stand by at the hotels where the legislators and political advisors stay in.
The cars are the same as the daily ones used by the public in appearance, except for receiving stricter examination, and drivers have also been trained several times for the agenda of the two sessions and the inspection of spare-parts.
Specifically, the services include shuttling deputies and political advisors back and forth from hotels and venues, and from main venues and sub-venues. All staff members are required to stand by around the clock and deal with problems within 10 minutes in any circumstances during the two sessions.
